With the added benefit of being able to translate the universal indicator of a shaking head.
It was painful, brutally painful and he had to be careful because if he fell back he wouldn't be able to catch himself, but Will sank to his heels. Making himself a less threatening form. ]
Yeah. [ He said, in a voice that had been wrecked by the toilet paper but was still soft and level. ] That was a pretty stupid question, wasn't it?

I'm not entirely certain. [ He answered honestly. ] If I had to speculate, I'd say it is something to do with the marks, as I've seen others like me outside their cells but no one with marks.
But I can't confirm that.
Have these cells be impenetrable to you the whole time you've been here?

He then points to his neck and cants his head to the other side. Ginger had bruising, does Will? Perhaps the new people were held in another manner.*

Glancing towards the figure, Will took a deep breath and stepped right through the barrier and into the cell. He stood there for a moment, then stepped back out into the corridor. ]
Alright, thats ... interesting. [ Maybe?
He gave it a moment's more thought, then focused on the unspoken question. Lifting his hand to his throat, he probed at the tenderness there. His shirt was in tatters, but he drew it down a little more to give Brian a better view.
His neck showed bruising similar to Ginger. Something uniform in its circular shape, with clean edges that made a uniform bruising pattern. ]
I haven't been past a mirror recently, but it feels pretty sore?
no subject
Well, it was worth a try.He leans up against the field to get a better view when Will shows his neck then nods. That was like Ginger's alright.*
no subject
Sorry. [ He offered quietly.
When Brian studied his neck and then nodded, Will shifted around his shirt collar (what was left of it) and exhaled a deep breath. ]
I think it's how all of us, where you just recently brought down here, were restrained. Perhaps because Miller knew we wouldn't be held back by whatever is keeping you and the others in your cells?
no subject
He shrughs and shakes his head. Maybe, but he's not sure that's in.*
no subject
But we don't seem to have much else to do at the moment.
no subject
I think they want us to. Suffer.
*Of course everyone understands what his codes mean.*
no subject
He gave the comment some thought, but then slowly shook his head. ]
I don't think it's that simple. This sounds like he was attempting something and it failed. The fact that we're all still here, unfortunately, suggests he's going to keep trying.
no subject
Ah good, more proof that everyone understands him when he does this and therefor doesn't need to communicate better.*May be. May be both. I donot think he would let you out for long. He wants to control.
*That could be the paranoia talking.*no subject
If that's the case, then perhaps he has a reason for allowing us out now? I don't know, it's all speculation and will remain such until the next move is made.
[ And Will expected there to be some sort of move. Otherwise he wanted to believe that they would have been spit back out into the cold and the snow.
After spending a couple of breaths battering himself against questions with no answers, he looked back at Brian. ]
May I ask, how you ended up in the pit? When we were held there?
no subject
*But he can't do anything but speculate either.
He cants his head at the last question.*
I went in. I wanted answers.
no subject
[ It was the first time he'd had the opportunity to ask. Will was still a little sketchy on the exact details about the differences, he'd been busy having a spike in paranoia at the time, but he recalled enough to ask now. ]
no subject
No. Only what was before.
no subject
Was the mistake made when we were placed in those circumstances initially, or does Miller see what was done as a mistake and is now trying to correct it.
no subject
@Admin couldnot see. May be Miller cannot? Tell difference between eyes and not eyes.
*He sure does tap out that @ symbol. Its important.*no subject
Or Miller sees us all the same. Lab rats.
[ A little harsh, as he's never really had interactions with Miller. But this one here and now is a doozie. ]
no subject
*Why would he?*
no subject
You mean these aren't four star accomodations?
[ Sorry Brian, but he could only hold on to what amounted to an helpless anger for so long. He had to compartmentalize it or end up screaming at the walls. It was how he'd dealt with the BHCI and Chilton. ]
no subject
Four star?
no subject
Will blinks and then tries to remember that he's met a self-professed vampire, so it should not come as a surprise to run into someone who might not be from Earth. ]
It's shorthand for a fancy hotel [ Hotel? ] Uhm, shelter and sleeping conditions.
no subject
After a moment he shakes his head. This is not a fancy hotel.*
no subject
The story of so many of his conversations to be honest. He gave Brian a small nod, and then pointed up the corridor between the cells. ]
I should probably check in on some of the others.
