I need the following things for an experiment into fighting off anomalies, and I am willing to trade:

- Springs or coils of metal that can be made into springs
- Screws
- Rubber bands
- Pipe plug or similar
- Lengths of piping

I have everything else I need.

Sounds like you know what you're talking about.

But a rubber band contraption is safer than trying to do something with gunpowder or more springs, and if it's rigged right then it'll still manage to fire the rubble with high enough velocity to pierce flesh at a fairly good range.

Trust me, I've made these before.

you can run but these things are fast as they wanna be if this is about buying time youre paying in pennies

do you wanna reload this shit cause thatd be hard to do with a goddam rubber band machine id imagine. it wont do any damage that lasts and youll just be sitting pretty while you try and fiddle with your fucking slingshot unless youre not going after the nomalies and youre going after actual people

which im not in any place to say bad about but this is a diferent conversaton in that case

Sometimes it just takes pennies to buy what you need.

I'm not looking for an efficient way to kill them, maybe just slow them down. But if it works, even if it slows them by a second or two, that's a second or two longer to get away.

not worth the effort in my opinion go big or go home and all but its your busines if you wanna get ate because you spent a long time on your dumb peashooter and it doesn't even do anything

Might not work, sure. Might do, though, so it's worth trying. If we have a way to slow them down, might reduce the number of people who die to anomalies.
