Not common, no, but I was good at it. I was a tattoo artist, a long time ago. I think I've got more ink than skin these days.

It can't have been *that* long ago! You don't look much older than Rhys. ...Rhys #1. That's so cool, though!! I'll have to point Zell in your direction sometime. He has some pretty neat tattoos too!

And I kinda figure this is the sort of place where mutually beneficial arrangements are the way to go, right? =) Not sure what I've got to offer yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll figure something out. If nothing else, even without my powers I have medical experience, so that's something, at least.

Haha. If you see him at any point, you'll know for sure! One of his tattoos is on his face, so it's pretty obvious.
(You'd think there'd be more people with them here, but as far as I know there's just us few? Me, Zell, and now you. And Rhys the First! He has one on his neck. And maybe more?? Iunno. Definitely not going to go looking, either. G r o s s.)

But anyhow!! Doctors are always in high demand here! Uh, unfortunately. I think the only medical types we have left now are House, who's a giant *asshole,* and John. Who's great, but he's also a fussbudget who tries to dad at everybody. Even grown adults. >:TTTT
So I'm sure you can carve out a niche for yourself in that area! Make it known that you're not going to douche or dad at anyone and you'll be set. :P

And yes. Dr. Pornbot doesn't seem to be popular. He tried to hook me up with a murderclown and steal my kidneys (there's only one clown that stabs people here, right? Please say there's only one)

Time to start working on a secret club handshake. Assuming I'm allowed in the clubhouse even though my tattoos technically aren't tattoos at all?? No ink!
I was born with them. Siren markings are universally referred to as tattoos, though, so I'm pretty sure I still qualify??

And I'd avoid promoting yourself as the hot doctor if I were you. Dr. ~*~*Hotstud*~*~ might get on your case for copyright infringement. Though since his claims are blatantly false, you might get away with it? Iunno how this works on Earth. Or... in hellish snowy wastelands where laws don't really apply in the first place.

There's only one stabbyclown, yes. But he's easy to avoid, since we only have one clown, period! Unless you count the statues and stuff in Clown House.

I'm not a doctor anyway, more like a nurse. Healer. Therapist. IDK. I never went to school, but my powers are weird. Easier when you can learn by touch. Also, I read a lot.

They're blue underneath the glow, like all sirens. With how things are here, though, I can't - you know. Turn them off?

Magic type stuff, yep. Weirdness was pretty much my career- I also banished ghosts and make really amazing margaritas. =D

[Rhys watches the video appreciatively, eyes firmly on the ink. Yes, she's cute, but more importantly? INK. When she's done showing, he smiles in clear appreciation.]

That's great. I know they're doing things in my world with blacklight and different chemicals, and I've made mine glow when I'm using active magic, but I've never seen anything quite like that before. It's gorgeous.

[He shifts his own tablet to unbutton his own dark, worn gray Army jacket, exposing his own chest and arm. Dark, heavy Celtic thorn patterns swirl all the way up his forearm from the wrist to above the collar of his t-shirt.]

I've got a ton more, but it's cold.

[ Because seriously. Cool. Almost as cool as the idea of people purposely altering tattoos to make them glow. Imagine! A world where people can just. Choose to do that. And presumably not end up dead.

Mine glowed when I was using my powers, generally, but also when exposed to certain substances. The latter was the case just before I came here, and I guess they got stuck.

That's pretty amazing. Seriously. Like, natural markings?

And yeah, I drew a lot of the designs myself. I was going to be an artist before I decided I was going to be all disreputable. Some of the stuff I've got was done by friends, but a lot of it is work I planned out myself, especially when it was the groundwork for magic.

...you'd be surprised how much drawing there actually is in magic.
