[He's a harried-looking guy in his mid-thirties, with a face and demeanor that seems to skew him younger than he really is. He's wearing a red jacket, over a gray shirt, and he's holding the tablet awkwardly to his face, as he looks around with wide eyes.]

Couldn't be Drax, he'd ruin the joke by now. He'd either start laughing already or attempt to explain it while it's happening.

Not Gamora's style, and Groot's kinda hard to miss, what with all those vines he keeps leaving everywhere.

[Oh, god. It's Peter Quill--Star Lord. If John were in a better place, he'd be excited to see another superhero, even if it's... this one. As it is, he just needs to be offered some guidance. John's well aware the man does poorly with authority figures, which an Army doctor is bound to represent.]

I'm sure a few other people will be along with the standard guides soon, but the basic run down is you've been trapped in Alaska around the year 2151. We think there's probably some sort of machine bringing us here. There's also a death cult that's still nominally active and who's been mucking about with our tablets recently. They might well be mucking about with us generally as you were injected with nanomachines on your entry here. Please be aware there are periodic events here our memories, minds, and/or perceptions may be altered.

If you're short on clothes for the weather, please contact @prettypinkflowers or @sceptreisle. They're our resident seamstress and tailor and have a good amount of winter gear they've picked up recently.

You might be able to find your location on the map I'm sending over now. It's maintained by @hotstud_xxx.

Someone probably already told you that, same as they probably already sent you a link to the guides and told you about the whole post-apocalyptic Alaska thing but frankly I'm having a little trouble focusing on other people's conversations right now and I'm a little busy trying to find the door to get out of this columbarium. Don't freeze to death, by the way -- I mean, if you're going to die it's not the worst, but our semi-miraculous return from the dead isn't actually guaranteed.

[Rhys peers uncertainly into the camera, a wary, somewhat worn-looking man of around thirty with deep blue eyes, black hair, and a scattering of piercings studding his face and ears. He wouldn't look out of place in a tattoo parlor or maybe a college art class, but there's a thoughtfulness in the lines around his eyes that softens the edge a bit. Every so often, he looks around uneasily, and he's settled back into a corner where the light is bad but it might...maybe...be a little more secure. Or, at least, a bit warmer.]

I don't know where I am, or how I got here, but I can't find anyone and I think I might be drugged. Or sick, I don't know. I don't feel right.

[ Yes, that's what Sylar starts with. He's in a ruined-looking large space, inside, as he smiles at the camera. Like pretty much any Norfinbury 'resident', he's far too skinny and nearly hidden under layers and layers of clothes. His starry earmuffs are the nicest-looking things on him. ]

If you're the type to feel other people's emotions, that'd be why you feel drugged. All of that's cut off here. Suppressed by the nanomachines in our bodies.
