[This is an incredibly embarrassing post to have to make, especially after the one he'd put out a few days earlier. Reading through those replies makes him want to curl up and hide from the world for people seeing what he'd been like straight out of the Army. The messages to his friends are a particular humiliation. But it is what it is and he has to deal with this now. Man up, Watson.]

I'd like to apologize to everyone for my attitude and behavior the last several days. My death price has ended and my memories have returned. I can't take back the things I said to any of you, but I'm really very sorry. I was in a bit of a bad place where I was set at.

For anyone who was asking me, I'm in the Entrance area with America, England, and Ginger.

I'm also sorry to report that the cause for Clint Barton's death was the Joker. He mortally wounded Clint, but I'm pretty sure Clint was able to escape the situation along with Harley Quinn. Clint was able to mortally wound the Joker, as well. I'm not sure where the Joker is right now, but please be on your absolute guard. He is well-armed and he'll have been healed up after his revival, even if he might still have severe MN Poisoning.

Action for Team Blonde
[Prior to sending out the message, John is rummaging around the new building they'd made it to for the night. He thinks he's getting the hang of this and he's relaxed a little more around his companions since they've not attacked him suddenly or stolen from him for several consecutive days.

He opens a cabinet in the kitchen and discovers a bottle of white wine, which is surprising, but not unwelcome when everything returns to him in a flash. It's like someone turning on the lights, full power when he's been completely in dark. It hurts.

John squeezes his eyes shut as the swirl of memories pours in, mixing, jumbling, resorting into the proper order and finally stopping when everything is settled. He's clutching his head, breathing hard. One memory in particular sticks out, though, the last one he'd had before dying...]

Fuck!

[Hope the rest of the house doesn't mind swearing.]

[There's a bit of a pause as John reads this. Maybe Stephen hasn't checked the other replies.]

Yeah. She's replied just before you. Are you all right?

...Ah.

[Well, at least he made the mistake privately.]

That's going to depend on your definition of alright. But yeah, I'm fine. I have no idea who I'm talking to most of the time, but I'm fine. What about her, though?

[That's troubling. John's brow furrows.]

Can't you... do you not remember usernames or something? I mean, she's fine. Something cut her forehead, but apart from that, she's fine. What exactly happened?

I don't remember any names.

[Stephen should tell him what happened. Instead:]

Was she the one who sent you a text message right before me?

[He sighs.]

Yeah, that's her. She really is all right. Probably more worried about what happened to you.

Well, to be fair, I did die.

She's the one still injured. [Just... pointing that out.] It is what it is, anyway. Are you trying to meet up with anyone again?

Not really. I'm heading east again, going to try something with the vending machines out there. How...how badly is she injured?

She's all right. It's just a small head wound and she's taking care of it. Reckon she got it running from you, but it's fine. Really, Stephen. What happened... those are basically the only circumstances I'd ever be relatively okay with you attacking my wife in. I mean, not okay, but you know what I mean. I won't hold it against you.

What 'something' were you planning to try with the vending machines?

No, she got it when I tried to cut her head open.

[For the second time, even. Stephen's got too many feelings about this to move on to the question about the vending machines just yet.]

[He falls silent for a moment, jaw tensing.]

Right. That would explain why it was so precise. It is what it is, Stephen. You'll drive yourself mad dwelling on it, so don't. I wanted to tear Mycroft apart, too. And I stole people's lights last time. Amber, Al... I'm the reason Al turned into an anomaly.

[None of those names register, but the heavy silence at the start does. Good. He can be mad at Stephen for it, that's kind of the correct response to someone trying to cut up the brain of a loved one.

He goes silent for a long moment, unwilling to commit to saying he's not going to, in fact, dwell on it and drive himself mad.]

I'm going to put some food from the school into the vending machines, see if the system can be tricked into changing what it stocks there. Friend of yours had the idea and I figured it was worth a try as long as I'm going that way.

Clever. I'm assuming by friend you mean Sherlock?

I have absolutely no idea.

[Right. Not recognizing people. John massages his temples.]

Okay. Sorry, yeah. Good luck with that, at least. If it works, I can grab more food from the school and see about repeating that with some of the other vending machines when I head that way.

Yeah, I'll keep you updated. If it works, it'll be worth doing all the bus stations we can reach.
