The most important things, I think, are to remember to find shelter well before night and to try and head for one of the places that people have regularly found food supplies - like the school or eastern convenience store.

Heading for a specific location will have to wait until I orient myself, though. Right now all I can see is snow and slightly less snow. Sheesh, how did the snow even get that high without burying everything?

I don't know, I can only assume that there are seasons where the snow melts and the ice thaws, or else it would be much deeper than this by now.

I bet if we're here long enough then we'll all get a sun-tan.

They probably already know our identities... in fact, it's pretty certain. They always know what names to put on the obituaries, even if those people never said their names over the network, and they must know who we are to have brought us here.

Yeah, I am absolutely sure. I've seen names of people that I know, and I've... I've seen them die before that.

It was, but it means that we know this is for real. And it has given me the resolve to make sure that it never happens again, not if I can help it.
