[Oh. Oh, Tadashi and his stupid self-sacrificing ways. And fire. Of course they mention fire in attempts to keep warm in this weather. And yet, Hiro can't entirely hide how nervous that makes him, the way he pales slightly and his eyes glance over to the side.]

Y-yeah. He is. As for the fire, ah, I haven't quite yet checked everything. Maybe? Otherwise I guess I can try layer up to keep warm in the meantime.

[she doesn't miss how nervous he is, and immediately starts wondering if she's said something wrong. She tries to keep her tone light, though:]

Yes—and if you can find anything more to keep warm with, apart from that coat, that's even better. Even some upholstery is better than nothing—I woke up in a house with a couch, and tore a big piece of fabric off of the back for a blanket.

[It's little things, but every time someone mentions fire he's probably going to react, however subtle and unintentionally it might end up. Not surprising, if anyone actually knew the reason behind it. He sighs, running a hand through his mop of hair.]

The coat is at least something, but yeah I doubt it'll do much if anything more to keep me going out there in the snow. Upholstery though, I can have a look. Or even some blankets or something in the bedroom.

[she nods, but he cant see it, so she gives him an encouraging hum.]

That's the spirit! And if there isn't any firewood, you can break apart any furniture that looks like it'll burn. Little tables, chairs, things like that.

Assuming the furniture is made of wood. But yeah. I'll see what I can manage. At the very least, hopefully the supplies will last at least until Tadashi finds me.

[She has a point though. Would be worth it to at least double check. If it gets cold enough and he needs to consider the idea of a fire.]

But then, with this weather and situation as he figures it, they have no choice but to try help each other out in this. Especially if these guys have already been hearing about him from Tadashi and all.]
