it's been almost two weeks now. and some people have been here before even me.

[ He's not gonna lie at this point. Giving people false hope about getting out of there early won't do anyone any good.

but yeah. no problem. as for the scent thing as soon as one of them got too close I felt like puking my guts out. [ And he may or may not of. He'll leave that to the other guy on the line's imagination. Blagh. Malboro's are still worse, but surprise!vomiting? Still. Not a fun thing. At all. ]

Ah. Now I understand. Not sure if the lack of odor is a blessing or a curse, though. A smell would at least give you warning.

yeah I guess it would when you think about it. but I'm not gonna complain too much. [ He really doesn't need anymore reason to feel sick. ]

other than that yeah. can't say it will.

in the meantime I'd keep tabs on food and find anything to keep yourself warm. oh! make sure you land yourself a place before it gets dark too. doors lock around eight from what I've heard. don't ask me why cause I dunno but if you don't get in you're gonna freeze.

Food and blankets were already on my list of things to look out for. How scarce are supplies, as far as you've found?

And how cold are we talking about here? Not that I'm one to press my luck if I don't have to, but I've had some survival training for winter conditions.

cold enough you'll freeze to death. [ Not that he believes everyone who's been out there ended up dead. The ones who had recorded themselves had ended up dragged off and back on the network later, so he has to wonder if their captors were involved in that... ]

supplies are tough to come by. I've yet to find an actual blanket. been making do with a curtain.

food's tougher. but there's a convenience store that has some from what I've heard. I haven't been there yet but it's supposed to be northeast of the school. the school has food too but it's full of those monsters at this point. it'd be risky to go in there now.

Huh. You'd think blankets would be easier to find in a town that experiences weather like this. I'll keep that in mind.

I can't see a school from where I am. Any other good landmarks to look for?

heh. yeah you'd think. [ Any other good landmarks... He can't think of too many notable ones. Much of the houses looked much like the other ones. And debris, well. Yeah. ]

well I know there's a gas station? [ Oh, look. He did a bit of snooping. ...Mainly because he had nothing better to do one night. ] can't think of any other place that's actually useful though. I was just at the other convenience store. place is mostly empty.

Where's the other convenience store, for reference? Any kind of signage on the front? I'd like to skip it if there's nothing useful there.

northwest of the school. if you pass the equipment shed after the school you're headed straight for it.
