[Here's a summary of the last ten or so hours of Jay's life: he woke up locked inside a spooky cold morgue in the middle of the night, suffering from a terrible headache and sensitivity to light that made him want to curl up in the shadows. Then, just as he finally managed to fall asleep, he woke up to a mystery injection with no warning. Then, upon inspecting the tablet he found on him, he discovered he'd recently posted a video on the local network despite having no memory of doing so. A video that made it look a lot like he'd died.

Actually, he seems to be missing at least several weeks' worth of memories. Again.

And just to top everything off, he has no tapes for his camera.

Everything really sucks.

He hadn't planned on making any more posts until he had a better grasp on the situation, but after a skim of earlier posts he feels the need to ask a question.]

Apparently a couple of people here have lost their memories and then gotten them back. Is that a common thing? If there's anyone else who's experienced something like that, please tell me. Thank you.

and I don't know about you but even if he's a psycho that's not something I'd want to have on my conscience.

Saying something about that isn't even an option. Especially since technically Tim shouldn't have it on his conscience yet and the fact that he does is all stupid Alex's stupid fault. Ugh. ]

that's why you can't remember anything, when you die the thing takes something from you for a while
your memories will be back. it was just a couple of days before I was back to normal

that's never happened before has it?

the death thing is different somehow
it's not always memories either. one guy went blind and it took my voice
I guess it could be something else bringing us back and not the thing but. doesn't seem likely

None of this is making any sense. Not that anything's made much sense since this whole thing started but this place takes it to a whole new level. It's going to take forever to figure this out.

Well those shadow things aren't out there anymore, right? So what is even the big risk here anyway. I'm not planning on getting stuck outside or climbing any roofs or anything like that.

that's the thing about this place. there's always something new to get killed by
the shadow things appeared suddenly afterlike two weeks of us being here
then disappeared as fast
they could come back at any moment. plus the thing is out there. and Alex

Ok I'll be careful. But at least when it comes to the thing and Alex I should be fine right. I've been dealing with them for something like five years apparently and they haven't killed me yet.

Anyway what's the plan once you do get here?

[ Plan? Plans are things that normal people have. Not people yanked into snow hell who're dead/dead inside back home and have nothing to work for except survival.

But it's not like Tim's actually going to say that, amirite ]

well first we'll probably need to make a food stop
but after that I was figuring we could head for the tunnels @zelda and some of the others found
there's something there I want to check out

I definitely haven't been there before
the place was sealed up until recently. completely unexplored
and before you say "well maybe somebody else who used to live here was called Tim Wright"
the thing they found was a bottle of pills
ones I've been taking regularly for years
so
