[Here's a summary of the last ten or so hours of Jay's life: he woke up locked inside a spooky cold morgue in the middle of the night, suffering from a terrible headache and sensitivity to light that made him want to curl up in the shadows. Then, just as he finally managed to fall asleep, he woke up to a mystery injection with no warning. Then, upon inspecting the tablet he found on him, he discovered he'd recently posted a video on the local network despite having no memory of doing so. A video that made it look a lot like he'd died.

Actually, he seems to be missing at least several weeks' worth of memories. Again.

And just to top everything off, he has no tapes for his camera.

Everything really sucks.

He hadn't planned on making any more posts until he had a better grasp on the situation, but after a skim of earlier posts he feels the need to ask a question.]

Apparently a couple of people here have lost their memories and then gotten them back. Is that a common thing? If there's anyone else who's experienced something like that, please tell me. Thank you.

Why is it suddenly giving memories back
that's never happened before has it?

the death thing is different somehow
it's not always memories either. one guy went blind and it took my voice
I guess it could be something else bringing us back and not the thing but. doesn't seem likely

None of this is making any sense. Not that anything's made much sense since this whole thing started but this place takes it to a whole new level. It's going to take forever to figure this out.

Well those shadow things aren't out there anymore, right? So what is even the big risk here anyway. I'm not planning on getting stuck outside or climbing any roofs or anything like that.

that's the thing about this place. there's always something new to get killed by
the shadow things appeared suddenly afterlike two weeks of us being here
then disappeared as fast
they could come back at any moment. plus the thing is out there. and Alex

Ok I'll be careful. But at least when it comes to the thing and Alex I should be fine right. I've been dealing with them for something like five years apparently and they haven't killed me yet.

So basically you want me to just sit around not doing anything and wait for you to get here. Boy does that sound like fun.

I've been saying I'll be careful this whole time. Believe it or not I don't actually want me to die either.

Anyway what's the plan once you do get here?

[ Plan? Plans are things that normal people have. Not people yanked into snow hell who're dead/dead inside back home and have nothing to work for except survival.

well first we'll probably need to make a food stop
but after that I was figuring we could head for the tunnels @zelda and some of the others found
there's something there I want to check out

Sounds good to me. The tunnels are probably worth looking around in anyway.

I definitely haven't been there before
the place was sealed up until recently. completely unexplored
and before you say "well maybe somebody else who used to live here was called Tim Wright"
the thing they found was a bottle of pills
ones I've been taking regularly for years
so

Wait are those the same pills you were taking when we were filming Marble Hornets? What are they for anyway?

my dosage has gone up since then but
yeah
they're for a whole bunch of things. seizures, brain stuff
and they stop the whole mask deal from happening which is a pretty welcome side effect

Wow aside from that last point that's kind of anticlimactic. When I found mystery pills in Brian's house I thought there was something really weird and creepy going on with them but they were probably just more of the same right?

[ What Tim wants to say is "can we not mention Brian for a while because there was this whole thing where I just learned that I killed him without knowing it was him and seeing as he was my first ever friend that makes it like twice as bad and this whole thing is still really raw and I don't think it'll ever stop hurting. My self-loathing is at its peak dude and every time Brian's name comes up it makes me want to tear chunks out of myself to make room for all the extra Tim-hate that starts bubbling up inside."

Sure that's fine.

[Jay really wants to ask WHY Brian is such a sensitive subject, but not even he's dumb enough to do that right now. He just makes a mental note of it and hopes he can find out more later.]
