[network] @standardissue; It's a Code, Cruel World [open] [Night 217]
Found something neat.
[There's light in the room that Kunsel's in, like the light from a computer screen. That's definitely not a tablet Kunsel's focusing his camera on, though. The room itself appears to be part of a small office. Hard to see the cubicles in the dark, but that hardly matters. That's not what Kunsel wants people to see.
No, it's the screen of a large machine that's been bolted to the ground. A screen that's still clearly working. It says "Please enter password" in plain text.]
Don't suppose anyone's found any random passwords lying around?
[He's posting this as much for his own sake as for information, since his discovery happens to coincide with an urge to share his fears that he's trying to resist right now.]

Alright.
Sorry, can't get anyone to video my screen. I'm not with the others right now. Took a tent and went exploring. They'll catch up tomorrow night.
Would you rather wait until then?
Re: [private]
ican now

[He may not know how to hack that well, but he should be able to tell if Brian knows what he's doing.]
[private]
He'll go more in depth if asked, but lets start with the basics.*
[private]
Looks like basic cracking isn't going to cut it, though. The security here is definitely top-notch. Better step it up if you want results, Brian.]
[private]
Half the point of the easy way was to make sure Kunsel could follow it. Since that seems the case he'll go into more advanced stuff. He's not the best, but he's a passable hacker so it should help Kunsel get there.*
[private]
Which means plenty of time to comment on other things.]
Your typing is clearer.

i died
[private]
[But strangely explains it.]
So this is temporary?
[private]
*Well, its screwing him up immensely, at least.*
yeah, i'll be back to normal in a few days.
[private]
But sounds like Brian prefers it the other way.]
Bad or not, I'll take the convenience. This would be harder with you the normal way.
[private]
yeah. i would try but...i don't know if i'd be able to actually get anything across.
nice timing, i guess
[private]
[Or so he thinks.]
Definitely some good luck, though. We could use a little more of that these days.
Speaking of luck...
[He gives Brian the next string of code on the screen. Surely they can't be far from a breakthrough, considering how long they've been at this, and how many people are working on it.]
Re: [private]
*It always makes perfect sense at the time, though.
Also: He resumes lessons!*

Got it! It's asking for an image now. There's something that looks like a scanner here, but I think I could updload an image directly, too. Testing it out with my SOLDIER key card now.

It might be a good idea to have another copy of Robert Miller's card. He's not entirely sure he wants to give it up, though...it was kind of Tim's last gift to him.
But the answers were more important, right? Especially if something happened to him again.*
that could be pretty useful. can you make a copy from images or does it have to be the actual keycard scanned in?

Damn.]
"Copyright protection error." It won't let me copy that card.

oh well. i guess that'd be too easy for this place.
let me know if the card for the powerplant works?

Hey, the question came up with someone else, but where did you find Miller's card?
