[Every movement that the monster makes causes its limbs to crack in a sickening fashion and blood to pool around its feet in a sticky mess. Its mouth opens wide to display the light, and it lets out a pained and hoarse scream.

It leaps at Tony, but the rock catches it off guard and sends it flying to the side with a bloody welt on one cheek. The light is still in its mouth, though.]

[He knows he has to be quick. Alphonse is only going to get more upset the longer he has to watch them fight. What Tony sees is definitely a monster. It resembles the remains of a human, maybe after some horrible accident--Tony doesn't want to think about that. He goes after the creature when it falls, cringing as he raises the rock again and tries to knock the light out of her mouth. He knows it looks as bad as Alphonse made it sound when he cried out, but he can't stop. These are monsters and they need to collect their lights. He keeps swinging, frantically, ignoring the spray of blood that comes from each strike.]

[He can't just stand back and watch this, the blood splattering everywhere and the way that Tony is in danger because he can't separate his mother from whatever is impersonating her here.

With a half choked off sob, he leaps forwards to try and distract the creature, letting Tony finally knock the light away.]
