[Oh, bloody hell. On the one hand, it's probably for the best that John's going up against Lutha. He's already injured. If he were fighting off Royce again, that would go poorly. On the other, he doesn't feel much inclined to fight with a man in Lutha's particular state. Although, he's a cultist right now, and the instinct is to fight and run as far away from the other man as humanly possible.]

Lutha, stop this. You're not thinking straight.

[John pushes off the wall, side-stepping into the unknown. It's not the best situation, but he's hoping he can talk the other man down long enough to get onto firm ground and away.]

Stuff it, doctor. You're the one who's not where you belong.

[There's a moment's hesitation when his steps start to pucker into the muddy ground, the young man drawing in a sharp breath. But he can't let the Prophet escape him again. He can't falter.

So his hand leaves the wall, planting both feet before pushing himself forward in a dead run - as close as one as he can manage, that is. Either Watson will flee and force him to pursue, or Lutha will barrel right into the doctor. Either is fine. Sooner or later, he'll find a way to bash the man's face in and drag him back. It's only a matter of time.]

[While John can tell Lutha's general direction, he can't see what the other man is doing. His own feet squelch in the thickening mud as he tries to edge around Lutha. It's only the slap of feet that alert him to the oncoming attack. John gets his arms up in a defensive cross and tries to step back, only for his footing to go.

Lutha will probably find himself falling into the mud along with John, the doctor switching to offense once they're down. He tries to roll them over so that he's on top of Lutha and grabbing for his arms to pin down.]
