[Alfie's still about ten yards away, calling out to them as he approaches.]

[They jump at the sound, startled, but when they see a blue star of light, they relax. Blue was safe. Blue was good. Blue meant they could do so much more than alone.]

W-where? [Both his hand, and... well, anything.] There's a cliff? Are... we outside?

No, it's some sort of room. There's no cliff here, but I've seen them in passing.

[He slides his hand into theirs once he's close enough.]

See anything nearby?

[They take a moment to pause, look around.]

Nothing really close.

[At least not like, within a couple hundred yards that they can see. Everything's moving so strangely though, it's hard to judge how fast that might change, though.]

Well. We're gonna walk, and you tell me if you see anything, all right?

[He tugs them forward, gently.]

Their head continues to swivel around as they move, even looking up and down some too. It's when they look down that they stop, eyes focusing on... the ground?]
