[log] Saltomons and the gang [closed]
Characters: Alfie Solomons, Charlie Kelly, Emily Kaldwin, Royce Melborn, Stephen Strange, Tifa Lockhart
Location: building 43
Date: afternoon of 205 to morning of 206
Summary: problemas
Warnings: n/a; will edit if anything comes up
A standard two-story house with a basement. The first floor has a kitchen, living room, and dining room, while the second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the chairs in the kitchen has been broken, with a leg missing, and pushed off into a corner out of the way. Another chair is broken in a more obvious way--it's missing a leg, too, but it looks like it was slammed against a doorway or something. There are scuff marks on the dining room floor. All of the furniture has been scattered about. The basement seems to have been converted into a veritable sports shrine. There's an old couch in front of a television stand that's empty of the large television that must have sat on it. The couch is missing a lot of its stuffing. The wall is covered in posters of various sports stars--none are people anyone would recognize, but the sports are: basketball and hockey. Even the area rug beneath the couch is a bold red and blue with the logo of the hockey team on it (an angry-looking goose, if you're curious). The TV stand in the basement looks like it was broken and then put back together. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, STEPHANIE BROWN, GREED, EDWARD ELRIC, DAY FORTY THREE, TRAVELLING NORTH." has been carved into one of the walls.

[ Hi, Stephen. Royce just so happens to be lurking near the entrance to the house, and he just melts out of the shadows when Stephen enters. Maybe his goal is a little to scare the fuck out of the guy, but he's not going to say so. ]
no subject
Jesus, don't do that!
no subject
Who are you? [ He has an idea. ]
no subject
[He's not impressed by the hood thing.]

[In full, username attached to good old Royce Melborn. Stephen refrains from pointing out that the cell for 'race' remains blank.]
I also hear tell you have a broken arm.
no subject
I do. [ Royce says. He doesn't offer his arm. ] And you came here to do what, exactly?
no subject
Doctor.
[He gestures at himself with both hands.]
It's Doctor Strange. Don't know if you caught that part. Mostly I'm here to deliver Emily's prescription, but yours wouldn't be the first arm I've splinted this week.
[Helped splint. Claire's been doing most of the real work.]

[Moron.]
Fluoxetine. It's an antidepressant.
no subject
She needs those, yes. [ A beat. ] What can you actually do about my arm? I've set it with the limited amount of supplies I have.
no subject
I can re-splint it if it needs that, and I've got enough fabric left for a sling to immobilize it.
no subject
He grew a lot, when he was home, but he's not sure he can trust this. It just isn't in his nature. ]
How easy is it to splint something properly on your own?
no subject
[That seems like it should be self evident. This is...stupid.]
You've got friends here, right? Go ask one of them to do it and I'll walk them through it.
no subject
Mm. Tifa. [ She can do it. In fact, he trusts her to do it more than he might with Alfie. Not because Alfie is less good at splinting, just because Tifa might be a bit more gentle. ] Get comfortable.
[ And he'll just sweep off to find Tifa and bring her back, at some point. ]

Royce looks over the splint with a very tired expression. ]
... How much are those pills going to help Emily? [ He asks quietly, voice a little hoarse. ]
no subject
["Should." It's a doctor's non-answer.]
She may have to try a few different prescriptions before finding the one that works for her. We should know in a couple days.
