A couple of nights ago, Charles brought up a very good point. I'm sure you've all seen it by now. And I think that even if no one but the explorers is taking the food and supplies left, he's shed some light on an important issue to consider for the future.
[There's a creak of a chair as he adjusts, still struggling to get comfortable with his broken ribs.]
So what I'm suggesting here, right, is a system of accountability. Those of us who are leaving supplies will leave our contact information - names and usernames, with a request to give us a ring when supplies are taken. And that, yeah, that'll serve two purposes. One, it'll let us know when a supply point is running low and needs to be restocked. And two, if many things are disappearing without any messages to us, it'll let us know that something might be going on that needs to be looked into.
I, for one, would very much like to know if the supplies meant for the explorers are being misappropriated.
[He gives a significant pause here, wanting that to sink in. It's no coincidence that this is coming right on the heels of House's post about him. If anyone who isn't exploring new areas is taking food and supplies that are being left, he wants them to know that he specifically is paying attention.]
Now - it's true that things aren't very centralized here. Yeah, there hasn't been much communication. And therefore, I think that most of us are gonna be understanding towards those that might have taken things out of ignorance - not knowing that they were meant only for people traveling into unexplored areas, where useful tools might be especially needed and town-provided food might be hard to get to. But I would hope that now that this has been made clear by both Charles and myself, you'll all keep this in mind for the future - and, of course, return any supplies you might have taken that haven't already been used up.
Thank you.
[He cuts the feed.]

I can't stop you, Alfie. I guess I'm all yours.

Could you do it without twisting things around? Without leaving things out or making things up? I honestly do not think you could.

No - you're either gonna do nothing at all, prop yourself up as the abused and beleaguered party, or prop me up as the villain. I can almost guarantee it. You are not capable of presenting this honestly. You're too slippery. And this public bit here, this "I don't know what you're talking about" - I think that's the set-up for it.
private
I'm also not sure you know what honesty is. I mean, you're all about being straight forward when it comes to throwing around that you're a criminal to scare people, but you don't own up to the things you do either. This announcement? What was it? You wanted to throw off that shade House tossed at you because he was mad. It's bad for business.
You shouldn't treat people like that.

And the rest of this - I'm not gonna bother trying to refute it, because again, we aren't talking about me right now. We're not gonna get sidetracked today.
private
Us versus them. That's not what you were talking about to everyone at all. You should be trying to bring us all together, not create bigger rifts.

I just notice that you've got this chip on your shoulder about Them. I don't even know who They are. I can't be one of Them.
