first off im wondering if any of yall have any info or stuff youve seen or just weird shit that has happened that you dont think is marked down anywhere
or that has since been forgotten about but youre still wondering what the fuck
because ive been doing a lot of reading up on this place and the vast array of nonsense that goes down on the regular to try and consolidate it all a little better
partly to write a guide to help catch the newbies up to speed and part because i want to find out whats going on
so if theres anything
some little factoid that you dont know how it links up but is too weird to ignore
something no one talks about anymore but might have a part in this
anything youre just plain curious about
go ahead and list it off and we can get ourselves a discussion going

secondly
who here can tell me about the trolls that were around
i know there were at least four because ive seen them in the morgues
theyre related to the place i come from but it seems like they were all gone before i showed up
and its kind of weird to think about
on that note
was anyone by the name john egbert rose lalonde or dave strider ever here before
jade might have mentioned them so dont worry about that
im asking if they were in the town at all

I think so. But she didn't volunteer anything - nothing more specific than sometimes calling for her parents instead of anyone. No matter where I was or where anyone looked, she was always further east.

It may be the only way to free us without killing us. If these nanomachines are keeping us alive, finding a way to simply leave the town as it is will surely be the death of us. If there is another way, it is there.

I think we do have choices, somehow. Most of them will be there, most likely.

so trying to subvert the system too much would probably just backfire
and yeah i doubt just straight up leaving town would help
even if not for the nanomachines and radiation we have no idea which way to go
and we would still be stuck in alaska
people want to go home so we gotta find out what brought us here
i cant say im feeling optimistic about it but ill keep trying to help

its because im something called a sprite
which is a kind of game guide for this thing my friends and i played
i was just dave before i became one

i didnt have to just to play it
sprites dont have to be people
but there was some stuff that happened with time travel and i decided that if i became a sprite i could help my friends more
so i became one

and its more serious than you actually know
since the earth got pulverized by meteors and then the universe it was in died because of stuff that went wrong
it was more like multiple somethings that went wrong on different levels
but an inherent goal of the game even when everything goes the way it should is to make a new universe for the players to live in

its how our world was created in the first place
via another group of players from their own universe
though i dunno how theirs came into being
besides what its meant to do doesnt really matter when the facts are that it does
you just gotta roll with it

But if this is creation's true nature in your world, how do you know a term like "biblical"? That implies the creation of man featuring Adam and Eve is also known, doesn't it?

just because people can make a story about how they think the world got made doesnt mean its true
there were no adam and eve
no god who said let there be light and a bunch of confusing religious doctrines no one fully follows anyway
same goes for every other religion people made
it was a bunch of alien teenagers
we just didnt know it because they never got to enter the universe after they made it
which is probably for the best because they sound like assholes

A world can do worse than no God at all, honestly. I've heard the worst stories. My world is apparently the lucky one, as far as those go.

I suppose a group of people ultimately more like you than like divinity isn't so good in its own right, however.

because what makes the difference between humanity and divinity
a god creates a world or a universe maybe but so what
aliens did it
humans do it again in the future
if its being immortal and having special powers my teammates had that too
hell they even reached something called god tier

It's not something I haven't had to ponder, myself. I am immortal - or I was, and had special powers, before this place. And yet, I would not consider myself truly divine.

I would say the difference is in origin. Humans or human-like beings such as the monsters of Frisk's world are of mortal origin even if they themselves are not or are no longer mortal. We are born through mundane means. Divine beings are created, rather than born. How we came to be shapes how we see the world and others, and I think that creates a distinction.

none of my team were born
one of my friends made us
he copied our guardians from themselves and got us from the mixed dna
then the resulting babies got sent back to earth in the past via meteor to land and be raised up to become our current selves in a stable time loop
we lived like normal humans for part of it until we started the game and eventually learned where the ectobiology came from
but you probably know that even being born and living a human life didnt preclude jeezy c from being considered god by some people
