He has to do something about this, stop people from coming after him. Not that he doesn't deserve their anger, or their revenge, but it will just lead to more people getting hurt.

He has problems, specific triggers. I know him as a character from my world. I ping those triggers because of what I know by virtue of keeping up with the Avengers films. It's not just him who's paranoid over what I know after I accidentally released the private notes in my casebook here when I'd only mean to release part of it.

Scared people make bad decisions. He and others are afraid of me. That's understandable. How the hell should they know they can trust me? He came after me because he was trying to find out the extent of my knowledge and I wouldn't tell him except where it concerned him.

We scuffled because I ran from him and fought back. You saw him with his arm off. I did a hell of a lot of extra damage to his shoulder in the middle of our fight, it's just not as visible as my injuries. He could have tortured me for the information after getting me down. He didn't. He let me go and helped me get cleaned up.

[Davesprite reads through, sighs, and takes a good long moment to think it all through. When he answers again, it's privately.]

It was just months ago when I was yelling at Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter, calling them actors while they told me I was some modern adaptation of a book about bloody Victorians in their world.

I'm not saying that Bucky isn't dangerous, either. It's why I've been quick to try to jump between him and other people. It's why I've been supplying him with meds that can slow him down. He's aware he's got a problem and he's trying to fix it. Ms. Romanov and the other Avengers are also coming to collect him so that they can prevent anything else from happening.

I lied because I didn't want a lynch mob coming after him. He feels guilty about what he did.

I didn't miss it. But whether you meant to or not, showing people those pictures, telling them I'm his battered boyfriend or whatever? That's going to cause a panic, Davesprite. Yeah, you have every right to be afraid of him. But we were getting him to help and you knew the others were coming.

Jesus Christ, that's not what I just said. You made a mistake. I didn't actually tell you to keep mum, though.
