[network] @Greed; Day 12, night [open]
[The feed turns on to show off the walls and floor of a building. Whoever is showing the video don't speak at first, they just awkwardly hold the camera up to show what is clearly blood on the wall and nearby floor.
It's a little while before Greed speaks up.]
Has anyone else seen something like this before? It looks like... [Like a murder happened here.]
Something happened here, beyond the residents just abandoning the town.

[He wasn't much of a detective but he remembers how it used to be working for the law. The memories make him feel a little odd. He chases them away.]

There must be more information left-- there's not much in the houses I've found, but I doubt this "admin" has destroyed all traces of what happened to this place.

Many of the pieces found so far have been shared through the network. [Max even had found one and shared it to those interested.]

[Not that that's a shock-- Greed has been hunting for his own things, focusing on the wrong things entirely for a while now with the intention of getting as much as possible.]
There's bound to be plenty more of this sort of thing, especially if everyone who used to live in this town died violently.

Haven't seen anything like that. Just a video.
[Kind of boring compared, really.]

I'd have picked a video over this. I'm not really the kind of guy to solve murder mysteries.
no subject
Let someone else solve it.
[That was, quite frankly, Max's way of handling all of Norfinbury's annoying mysteries. He wasn't the type to... to care about it all.
That's what he kept telling himself anyway.]no subject
[It's what he'd like to do, with a name like Greed and all the self-serving that comes with it.]
But I don't think that's possible. There's too few of us for people to do nothing.

Then. [Pause. Not good with words. Doesn't really have anything else to say. Eh...] Good luck.

[It's stating the obvious, and he knows it, but Greed feels better saying it aloud.]
I'm sure there's more shit like this waiting to be found.
no subject
[Fine. He can do that much, too. He would keep it in mind if he ever found anything else of consequence anyway. Maybe.]
Probably. Scattered pieces. [Like a puzzle.]
no subject
[Well, that's an odd thing to say.]
no subject
Maybe it did.
[In his experience things like that did actual happen.]
no subject
Not literally, of course; the place is still here, but it's been walled off; separated. The outside world might not even know it's here.

[He laughs, but it's a bitter noise.]
Town abandoned, possibly because the residents all started killing each other!
no subject
Possibly.
