I can't remember the last time I was this cold.

[Its not fair to say that he's afraid. He isn't. Worried? That he'll give you. Steve is illuminated only by the screen. He's huddled under his coat in a room with no furniture. The whole house is empty and while that isn't likely always a problem, tonight it's bitterly cold.]

Actually that's not quite true. The last time I was this cold was the winter of 1928. Ma was really sick and we ran out of coal for the furnace. I had to crawl into bed with her. I think that was the only time in my whole life that I was pleased she had a fever.

[His lips tremble from his shivering but he still smiles. Only Steve Rogers could smile through something so depressing.]

i hope everyone is keeping warm tonight. Body heat helps if you're lucky enough to be with someone. Think warm thoughts and stay safe.

I made it inside. Just about. I don't know how I got so turned out. I have no idea where I am.

I'm not sure if I'll really be so easily defrosted this time. Something is working against my body here.

[Alfie is also wrapped up tight, in blankets and coats and pillows. He even has a few spare bits of cloth covering some of the exposed skin on his face - his cheeks, his forehead, his nose. He probably looks ridiculous, but he doesn't care.]

[Steve's smile isn't as strong as it could be.]

It's important to remember the little things. We got through many winters bundled up together.

[Steve has never heard of that place but he's come to learn that not everyone is from his version of Earth. Or any version of it for that manner.]

I use to really like the snow. For awhile. This is a little too much for my liking!

[The whole fever thing. It'd almost be unbearably warm if it weren't so cold outside. It's still absolutely got Frisk worried, but they'll take what bright spots they can get.]

Hey, Cap, d'you know where you are in town? Steph and I are staying in a house tonight that had heating during the afternoon. Might want to huddle there at some point.

I...apologize for the familiarity. I know it must seem odd to you. [He's talking to stabilize himself more than anything at this point, and he seems to be aware of it, because he returns the conversation to Steve.] I'm glad you're inside. The wind and snowfall make the nights fatally cold.
