A standard two-story house with an attic. The first floor has a kitchen, living room, and dining room, while the second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The entire house has been done up inside in Victorian style--it probably cost quite a lot of money, and no detail is spared. The color scheme is a bit dark, though, and it's difficult to see in here during the night. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, DAY EIGHT, TRAVELLING EAST" and "ALPHONSE ELRIC, STEPH BROWN, MAMI TOMOE, FREYA CRESCENT, EDWARD ELRIC, DAY TWENTY-FOUR, TRAVELLING WEST" have been carved into the hallway wall. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, EDWARD ELRIC, GREED, DAY SEVENTY-FIVE, TRAVELLING SOUTH-WEST. DEAR FORMER RESIDENT, WE ARE FRIENDS, PLEASE DO NOT FEEL YOU NEED TO HIDE FROM US. CONTACT LELRIC." has been written on the wall. Written on the wall in blue ink is the following: "This is Building 80 on the composite map. Contact @CaptSteveRogers for details." Underneath is a pretty accurate map showing the house in relation to the south and west snow walls, the school and athletic shed, the funeral home, and buildings 34, 35, 37, 39, 40, 41, 46, 47, 48, 49, 53, 57, 58, and 59. The snow wall is labeled "Snow wall." House 58 is labeled "Entrance to ice tunnels." The school is labeled "School. Food available in cafeteria; DO NOT STAY HERE OVERNIGHT." The athletic shed is labeled "Shed". The funeral home is labeled "UNSAFE; DO NOT STAY HERE OVERNIGHT." House 34 is labeled "Medical assistance; hot, clean water. Contact Dr. Epps @claytonator".

[ Cue internal angry goblin noises, he is not attached! ] Not her. But I will hurt other people. People she might like.

Kesara was concerned.

But she still talks to you, yeah?

Yes, she does.

I told her I died. So she wouldn't need to see it on the obituary.

[devoutish]

I told her you died, too. We talk.

Mm. [ Since that conversation hasn't technically happened yet, vagueness... goes here. ] You do, don't you.

You could have stayed. You were right there, close to where she is.

[devoutish]

I would've taken us a few days to find each other. She's exploring unknown territory, now.

[bywolves]

But now you're even further out. [ He points out. ]

[devoutish]

It's not a long walk back, if I need to go quick.

[bywolves]

Right. [ Royce isn't even sure what he's arguing here, so he kind of just settles back with a small frown. He might just be arguing to argue, which is... a thing. ]

I'm gonna find extra supplies for her, as we walk. Make up for the delays, yeah?

[bywolves]

What are you looking for?

[devoutish]

Nothing in particular. Anything that might be useful.

[bywolves]

Do you need me to keep an eye out as well?

[devoutish]

I'd appreciate it, yeah.

[bywolves]

[ He will, then, with a hum of acknowledgement.

He's quiet for a while more, and then, in a sort of half-asleep way: ] Shouldn't have sent you that message. The curse one.

[devoutish]

You didn't believe it was real, did you?

[bywolves]

Mostly. It was from Nathan. [ He tilts his head back, and waits for the dizziness to pass. ] He jokes, but I didn't want to risk the fact that this place might take advantage of people not believing him.

[devoutish]

Did it start with Nathan, or was he just passing it along?

[bywolves]

Not sure. He was insistent on it not starting with him but I don't believe him.

[devoutish]

Half the town has been spreading it around. There are others I'd suspect, too.

[bywolves]

I sent one to Kunsel. [ He sounds vaguely annoyed by this. ]

[devoutish]

Did you.

[What's your point, Royce? He's listening.]

[bywolves]

Our conversation was aggressively polite. [ Passive aggressive. You mean. ]

What do you think of him? [ This is going somewhere. Mostly in the 'I don't like him' direction. ]

[devoutish]

[Picturing Royce being aggressively polite is pretty amusing to Alfie, honestly.]

I'd like to hear what he's got to say about ShinRa.

[He assumes he'll be less than impressed.]
