I'd ask you to tell me where you are in town but I can't trust that the rest of the people here wouldn't try to chase you with torches and pitchforks.

I'm certain that would happen, yes. As for how far out of town you would have to go, it's a matter of time spent out of town, rather than distance. A week should do it.
