It's science, a branch of chemistry. Though you're right about the technology, it still amazes me, there's nothing like this where I'm from. We don't even have wireless telephones.

My "world" doesn't have quite this level of technology yet either, but it's not completely foreign, at least.

I get the impression that there has been quite a population in this town over the past few months. Do you have any idea how many of us there are or have been, and how many are from each world? It seems as though Earth might be the "default," but then again, that may just be my own bias.

I was keeping a list of when people were arriving and roughly from where, but I fell behind after-- some things happened.

Most people here are either from Earth at various times, or from places that recognise Earth and the countries associated with it, like America or Japan. There have been a few people from Gaia too, that's probably the second most popular place.
