It might feel real, but if it isn't real, it does make a difference. Thinking we're experiencing something when it's a lie isn't something we should just accept. We can't forget where we're really from.

At first it's not. But if we just start taking things at face value then we miss what they're doing to us. If this is all technology, they could convince us of anything.

And I think there are signs that this isn't reality, or not all of it, so they could eventually get us to forget who we are.
