It's from a book I read when I was a kid. A little boy runs away from home, and is presumed drowned and dead. He sneaks back home, right, and decides to attend his own funeral.

[Well, Tifa cried, Royce was depressed, they argued, it was all terrible.]

I bet it's disappointing, huh?
