What, you think anybody will miss me? [ He snorts, amused. ] Nobody is going to bother to check up on whether I came back or not. This time I just wouldn't remind people I'm here.

And unceremoniously dumps it on Royce's head.]

[ What is with all of these people dropping blankets on him?!

Royce just makes an angry sound and bats at the blanket, pushing it off his head. Tifa will also leave him one, and they'll stay right on the floor in front of him out of spite and stubbornness. He doesn't need their help.

Royce just doesn't want to owe anybody. He doesn't care if they say he doesn't - that's just the way things are. ]

Don't hold your breath. Or on second thought, do.

[They're best friends for a reason.

An amused sound rises within his throat, releasing softly into the darkness at the other's movement, mind likening them to a pissed off cat batting at a particularly difficult piece of prey.

If that prey was a harmless blanket that would keep it from freezing to death.]

I'm tired and cold. Cut me some slack. [ Royce bitches childishly, ignoring the blanket. ] If you don't have anything useful to say, go away and let me rest.

[meteorrains]

[He's just going to.

Look at the blanket.

Then back up at Royce.

Then down at the blanket.

Then at Royce.

Then at the blanket.

And then.

He is going to pick it up. Unfold it by flapping it in the wind a few times.

And unceremoniously drape it across the stubborn little man's lap.]

One problem solved.

[ Royce just gives up. That's it, he's done!!!

He just makes an irritated noise and lets it stay there. For now. As soon as Cloud leaves he's going to kick it back off of him, but for now he figures this is the best way to get to be alone again. You win this round, Cloud. ]

[Unfortunately for Royce, Cloud is currently suffering the status effect known as mania.

Which means he sleeps for, maximum, three to four hours a night.

So eventually, he's going to come out. He's going to see that blanket kicked into a puddle.

And he's going to pick it up. And flop back on top of you.

He does not want to have to explain why there is someone frozen to death in the corner, okay. You can not make him explain that to Sora. He will not.

Also enjoy the pop tarts he's going to leave in your backpack. Just eat around the green furry parts.]
