We all met here. I have pictures of them if you want to see. [Not even hesitating with this offer.] I've been with them for a couple of months. I trust them to have my back.

[ Uh huh. Royce doesn't bother saying anything about it because he's tired of arguing over the tiny metal box. ] You... have pictures. [ Like paintings??? ]

Yeah, I do. [Sending a picture of Mochi the cat.] The tablet can take pictures. You should see what happens when you hit the icon that looks like a rectangle with a circle in the center. [That doesn't count as helping, right?]

[bywolves]

[ HOW. How... Royce doesn't answer for a long moment, because he's trying out this camera thing. Once he's got it working (he takes a great picture of the ceiling) he finally replies. ]

This is... [ He's so out of his depth here. ] It's instant.

Right? It's so frickin' cool! There is an editing program, but it's pretty simple. [Sending a picture of Zack Fair with a MS Paint style eye patch and red bow drawn on.] Like this!

[ He makes sure he does it away from the speaker, but Royce actually snorts a bit in amusement at that drawing. His voice is even as always when he replies. ] That function seems pointless.

How were these made? These tablets. Did someone who can use the Art make them, or is that going to get me another 'I don't know'?

[He has a lot more where that came from. Also very candid and embarrassing photos.]
It's just fun. You can also draw on any maps with it.

[Which is good for helping people out with directions or making notes of where how water can be found.] Glass, computer chips, wires, and the casing to keep it all together. They are almost indestructible, but the admin doesn't like it when people break them.

[ Oh, well that's infinitely more useful. Royce keeps the map thing in mind. ]

The admin will have you paralyzed for about fifteen minutes, while the pieces are collected. [There is a pause.] Don't try to swallow or hide any of the pieces if you do try it yourself. I had a couple of friends wake up to new surgery scars.

Why would I swallow any of the pieces? [ What. That's weird. ]
