Kid pauses, trying to look slightly less agitated. He can't quite help it; the cold is bothering him far more than he's willing to admit.]

[Steve looks thoughtful, and his eyes leave the camera as he starts scrolling through the network. He glances up again briefly and flashes a smile when the kid thanks him.]

It's freezing here. [Hey, idle chatter keeps you from being bored. And while Kid is genuinely curious about the identity of the Stein-like person on the network, he's also shivering while carrying out the conversation.]

I'll take a look. Let me just-- [It takes Kid a moment to click the link, watch the video provided. Despite not watching the camera himself, Steve will still see his eyes widen in surprise. There's no doubt that that is Professor Franken Stein that's calling himself Dr. Stitches. Brushing fingers through his striped hair, he shivers and then nods.] Ah...yes. That's him.

Sure is. You're gonna want to make finding more warm things to wear and sleep in one of your biggest priorities. This is actually relatively nice weather, it gets worse. Colder at night, too, always.

[Steve sits up a little straighter, suddenly interested.]

Oh yeah? What's his name, actually? What do you know about him?

I am unused to being concerned about such frigid temperatures. I have lived in the desert in Nevada for much of my life.

[Kid's surprise is quickly replaced with tepid acceptance, and as he notices Steve's interest he is careful to mask his own.]

...Dr. Stitches is my professor at school. [While Kid has not even been Stein's biggest fan, he would not immediately out the Professor's name if there is a reason for secrecy. Contacting him is Kid's first priority now.] I told you I recognized his skills.
