I found pieces of metal the size of someone's chest inside the rubble.
Bending metal into any shape isn't hard with hot enough fire.

Yep. Wish I had it with me. But I guess they would've just taken it away. Kinda relieved I wasn't carrying it at the time they grabbed me, so it's safe at home. [Priorities. KEEP HIS PRECIOUS BABY SAFE.]

The trick is getting the fire hot enough, and having the right tools to work with it. Also there's the risk of ruining the metal's temper. ...Shape's not too important if I'm just using it to hit things, though.

Solder's a good thought if we can manage it. Thank you. ...We know the building material vs. itself can be scratched, or ground to powder with a hell of a lot of effort. Maybe I can drill some holes.
