There was an anomaly, it—got Yukio.
I've already informed Shiro. I just thought—I dunno how well anybody knows the kid, I just thought. People should know.

Too many people have died recently. Too many in general, but these last few days especially.

It's one thing losing friends in battle, but this isn't like that.
If only we can figure out how to frickin' hit them back.

I've got my fireplace poker rubble-coated now, but I didn't even get the chance to use it. Not that it did a lot for Vriska but maybe I could've at least distracted the thing.

It doesn't slow them down.
Not even setting them on fire slows them down.
Maybe a shield from the metal could push them back.
YOU'RE HILARIOUS.
You know, I've thought about this before. I actually prefer to fight with a shield. Could probably find a piece the right size and shape, even if it wouldn't look pretty. Couldn't figure out how to attach a handle or straps to it in a way that was practical, so I gave up on the idea. But you're right, a piercing weapon impacts them but doesn't stop them, we need a brute force approach, a wall of metal with some muscle behind. Then we can hit them. Slow them down at least.
Might have to put more thought into it, see what I can come up with.

I found pieces of metal the size of someone's chest inside the rubble.
Bending metal into any shape isn't hard with hot enough fire.
I'll keep my eyes open for anything that can be used as solder

The trick is getting the fire hot enough, and having the right tools to work with it. Also there's the risk of ruining the metal's temper. ...Shape's not too important if I'm just using it to hit things, though.
Solder's a good thought if we can manage it. Thank you. ...We know the building material vs. itself can be scratched, or ground to powder with a hell of a lot of effort. Maybe I can drill some holes.

Might be because they're made from dragon skin.
You don't have to explain, man.
I've done silversmithing. Mostly jewelry though.
Good luck with the project though. Let me know if you figure it out.

Voice @Enoch
[He hadn't spoken much at all with Yukio, hadn't been physically in his presence more than once. But he knew he was Shiro's son, and nobody deserved to lose their child.]
That's terrible. Let's hope he returns, I-...I don't know him well, but I shared a shelter with him and Shiro not long ago.
...Are all of you all right?
voice
There wasn't a fight or anything. No one else was hurt.

He respects the deflection of another grown man - at least here, he does. Because, you see, there's a young child involved too, or there was last he knew. Badgering Steve about his emotional state isn't going to get Frisk whatever further help they may need.]
Is Frisk still with you?
