[log] Nothing better than a good old fashioned reunion [closed]
Characters: Zach, Kesara, Terezi, Vriska
Location Building 51
Date: Day 112 - Evening
Summary: a heartwarming reunion...maybe?
Warnings: none, afaik. May be updated later.
[Zach had arrived early to the house, putting his bags down quickly and flopping down on the couch, not even taking in his surroundings much. There's something akin to nervousness thrumming through him - he's not quite sure what's going to happen once he meets back up with Kesara and Lil' T, and he definitely doesn't feel in the mood to take Marquise's bullshit. It's probably going to be...well. Tense. Kesara's probably still sort of mad at him.
Oh, well. It's all too late now, and he's here, so might as well relax while he can. Soon he's not going to be alone any more and he's going to have to keep thinking about people's well-being and he can't keep going and putting himself in danger for no reason. That's probably going to be the hardest part of it all...
He pulls out one of the books he's pilfered from one of the random houses he's visited on his way, settling himself to wait and trying not to stress out too much about the upcoming reunion. Who knows, maybe they wo't show.
Zach is out like a light, and snoring soundly, the book on his chest, in minutes.]

To swoon would be eminently uncool, she thinks, so she merely nods with great enthusiasm as she takes the shard and swirls it around in the bowl for a moment, before bringing it up to her face.]
I - I'll be fine - you just, you'll have to be quick. I'll get rid of the bowl and you have to wake up Zach and tell him that something is terribly wrong with me and make sure we all call Dr. Epps before he can think about it, while the blood is still fresh. I don't think I'll bleed all that much, so we'll have to be very quick.
[And without further ado - before she can think better of it - she is thinking better of it already and it is very uncool - she pokes the blue-stained shard up her nose and nicks the inside.
It's like inhaling a spark from a fire. The pain is so sudden and stinging that her eyes well up with tears, and blood comes dribbling out, thick and dark red, mixing purplish. Before she can think better of that she snatches up the bowl and splashes Vriska's blood into her eyes, down her cheeks, up into her nose as she tilts her head up. It's a nightmare. It burns and sticks. It goes down the back of her throat and she coughs purple. But Vriska said she was cool.]

Which means, of course, that she makes a mental note to tell him all about it later. Maybe he'll barf. She gives Kesara a thumbs up - fake tears! Nice touch! - before scrambling towards Zach and shaking him roughly. ]
Hey! Hey! Chumpy Chumpmaster McChump! Kesara is leaking freakish blood everywhere, you gotta call Epps. Or watch her die if you are a heartless cruel fucklord, I guess!
no subject
Bzuh?
[It takes him a moment, but finally his eyes focus on Kesara and the blood, so much blood all over her face, and what, what. She's also crying, and the first thing Zach wants to do is check her over, but also, a doctor. That's not a bad shout, even if it's unsure what they can do from here. Fucking spiders deciding to go on strike.]
What the shit?
[He doesn't even wait for an answer and scrambles straight for his tablet, pulling out Epps' contact and throwing in a video.]
Epps! Help!
no subject
Wait, what?
A riot of Vriska's tell-tale blueberry bubblegum, human cherry red, and a mix with grape juice hits Terezi's senses like a sudden punch to the face. She physically reels back from the intensity of the colors and sneezes, trying to clear her nose.
That is, very clearly, not just Kesara's own blood she's leaking everywhere. She opens her mouth to protest whatever shenanigans Vriska is trying to pull, but a part of her hesitates. Kesara doesn't seem like the type to pull a prank like this for no reason.]
...What in the world is going on?
text - @claytonator
Listening! Still downtown but I can try to get there ASAP. Where are you? What's going on?
no subject
This is going on! Don't think we really have the time to wait for you to get here!
[His tone is only panicked, not angry. He just - doesn't know what to do.]
no subject
[...Clayton mutters at his tablet, but naturally it doesn't pick up because he's working through text and, honestly, maybe it's for the best that nobody involved (Joker included) picks up on his thinly veiled panic. That's a lot of blood. Need to stop the bleeding.]
You need to stop the bleeding. If it's from her nose and mouth, it's likely internal. [The rest of it splashed around her face looks...smeared? Likely in fear, Clayton gathers. He doesn't see any freshly trailing, anyway.] Have you been burning things, or are there any strange plants/molds where you're staying? The fumes do unpleasant things to people; if she's inhaled something like that, they might've done a number on her lungs.
Is Kesara's blood blue, or is that just the lighting?
no subject
D-Dr. Epps - ! [she blubbers, sniffling and sobbing.] Zach you gotta tell him - please I talked to Dr. Watson and he wouldn't believe - he wouldn't give me the medicine and now it's all blue -!
[Yes, call attention to the blue - much more important than the quantity of blood. She wants them confused, not so totally panicked that they would do medical things to her.]
no subject
[Zach turns back to the tablet.] Epps, do you have any clue what's happening?
[Zach wasn't even that scared when he realized he was dying. This is - his hands are shaking. He feels like he's going to throw up. None of this is good, and if Kesara's hurt - again - under his watch...he's never going to forgive himself.]
no subject
No clue, but I'm going to find out. Hold on while I get a hold of John.
