Surveillance encountered an error shortly after 8PM last night and was out of order until shortly after 6AM. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Think of it as a chance to sleep well without all the noise. [ Yeah, Jim's teasing is weak. He knows exactly why Zell won't, and the thought of Zell alone is an ache all its own in his chest. He can't remember what's real. ] Until we find each other again.

[ Jim's fingers brush the tablet wistfully before he can force himself to turn the camera around in the room. It's dark, though there's weak sunlight from where he's opened the door up the stairs. ]

It's a basement. Outside's the end of one of the ice tunnels, but I don't know which one.

[At least he had sleep for the last two nights. Smiling a little bit as he thought of the previous night.] I do have some of our previous conversations to listen to when I miss it.

[Like their conversations when Jim couldn't see and was alone.

Zack is down there too. Just head the opposite direction to get to the...[Hospital. Swallowing for a moment as he looks away. That isn't going to be fun for Jim. At least he can actually see. Tracing the edge of the tablet a moment and wishing he could get there faster. Maybe he could find something to use to get there?] Still have the map Kunsel shared?

[He starts moving to make sure he has everything together. Going to head down now that he knows where Jim is.]

You won't have to. I'll be here - on the network. I can talk you to sleep. [ Jim knows he won't sleeping as his thoughts follow the same path as Zell's. Please let someone be at the hospital when he gets there, even if it's no one he knows. He'd almost rather freeze than spend the night alone in the - drawer, darkness, plastic, cold, hungry - hospital again. ] I've got the map. If this tunnel's on there, then it could only be one or two places.

I get to the hospital I'll know where I am. I can find you. [ Focus on the important things. ] You can find me. You and Mochi won't be along for long.

[Pausing in his task to drop his forehead onto the tablet screen a moment.]

Stars. [He really loves this boy and he really hates he can't be there. The word hospital makes him feel cold inside.] What about singing? Teach me a song from your world and I'll play along. [He's pulling the tablet back to give a bit of a smile.]

We'll find each other. You have to be by my side to catch me, right? [A beat.] I'll be there as soon as I can. It's going to take me a little more than a day to get there.

Y-yeah. Alright. I know a couple. [ More than a couple, and he wouldn't mind singing for Zell. It'll make the hospital feel less lonely.

A little more than a day. A night apart, and maybe that wouldn't be anything back home - his parents had spent months apart, though maybe that wasn't the best example - but here anything could happen in twenty-four hours. Maybe that's why he's doing something as silly as kissing his tablet before clearing his throat and pretending to have done no such thing. ] Just - don't go jumping when I'm not there. Be careful, even if it takes another day.

[ He nearly ends it at that, but almost without his permission he blurts out: ] I can't lose you.

[He's going to smile at the kiss. Even if this situation really sucks, it's almost worth it thanks to seeing that. Tracing Jim's face on the screen as he keeps grinning like a dumbass.]

Man, I miss you already. [His words come out quietly. Then he's going to nod a bit as he raises a closed fist.] You can count on me. I'll save all the jumping and falling for you. [Looking at his bracelet a moment and remembering when Jim would put his fingers on it.]

You won't lose me. You always have a part of me with you. [Pressing a kiss against the piece of eight.] Just like I'll always have a part with me, right? [He means more than just coins or anything physical.] I will make it back to you.

Miss you too. [ The weight of the feather around his neck is impossibly heavy, for a moment. Zell's silly closed fist gesture draws a smile, though, and Jim shakes his head in amusement. ] Not settling for just a part of you. Counting on you to make it back, Sunshine.
