Honestly? I find your world more fascianting: we have access to magic, that's true, but once you learn how to bend elements to your will it's easier... I've seen medicines here you ingest, We can cure poison with a snap of fingers or illnesses exposing someone to the light of a sand pearl...
We are using what the Crystals and the world offer us, people from worlds like yours and Steve... you create what we can obtain with the power of your minds and nothing else. THAT is fascinating and always reminds me how resourceful humans can be.

You see, the whole beauty of creating destructive things is that they're just tools. Humans aren't the only creatures who create destructive things, or the only ones who use magic to hurt others...
