[The door to the employee area is secure, thank God, and they've got clean running water—a sink and a toilet!—but that's really all that can be said for their situation. The tiny area has already been thoroughly explored, its handful of useful items found and tucked away in Steve's packs. Now they're left with just the incessant THUD... THUD... THUD of their own tailor-made personal demons throwing themselves at the door, again and again. And again.

Steve should—do something, he doesn't know, something productive, or keep Quark distracted—but instead he's just sitting, leaned over in one of the two remaining chairs, elbows on his knees and head in his hands.]
