[It's a person! No human comes into view, but a little red bulb on the dog's collar lights up.]

[The dog's response in and of itself isn't necessarily surprising to Aigis; she was used to being able to understand what Koromaru was communicating back home. Still, the visual cue of the collar lighting up makes her think that it might not be her own abilities at play.]

Are you alone? [A thoughtful pause.] Your name is...Dug?

Oh yes! My name is Dug. I am alone right now, but I am going to find my master and his friend.

[Oh no.]

It's nice to meet you, Dug-san. My name is Aigis. [A small pause, and her expression becomes a little troubled.] ...I don't know if your master is here. What does he look like?

Hi Aigis! My master is a man called Mister Fredricksen, and he smells like prunes and I love him.

I have not met anyone by that name here. [Of course, it might be that it's someone hiding their identity.] I'm sure if he's here, he will contact you. He would not want to lose you.

[Suddenly, Aigis misses Koromaru a lot.]

Oh yes! He said that I am his dog now, and then we flew the airship back to his home!

[It hasn't even occurred to Dug that spreading his name on the network would be a good way to help his master find him. It's just...something he's sort of done by accident.]

[Aigis' interest is obviously piqued by Dug's statement.] The...airship? Did your master build an airship?

[It would be incredibly useful if someone with that kind of knowledge were here.]

My old master built the airship so he could catch the bird, yes.

[athenashand]

The bird? [This is very confusing.] I don't think you'd need an airship to catch a bird...what kind of bird was it?

It was a large bird. I took the bird as my prisoner, but then we had to help the bird get away.
