Audio; Day 73 Morning; Jim's Dead, Kids.
[ There's nothing for a long minute. And it just keeps going, stretching on to almost awkward silence Then a carefully controlled voice. ]
Just figured.. [ There's a sound of a sharp inhale followed by a sigh. ] Hell with it. Jim's- ...Jim's gone. Didn't want you guys to find out through the damn administrator.
[ He takes another moment to compose himself. It's not... easy. Everything still feels raw as hell. But they need to move forward. They need to do something before all this swallows them up. So, he clears his throat and tries his best to shake off the worst of those awful feelings. It leaves a numbness to his voice, but he's trying, damn it. ]
We're still on our way to the hospital, but we're stopping to resupply first. Guess this is where I should ask if there's anything we ought'a be on the look out for down there. So, if you've been down there... or if you need anything down there... Let me know.
[ He cuts if off abruptly there. ]
( ooc: Anyone responding about Jim's death Zack will admittedly probably not be very talkative with. He lost three group members within two weeks, so... yeah. )

Voice @determination
[Their voice is quiet. They hadn't spent too long down there, but long enough to know vaguely about the place. A few things.]
'm sorry about your friend.
audio; @dreamsnhonor
There's another long pause before he finally gets his wits about him again. ]
You said you and Sans woke up down there... right? You mind filling me in with anything you know? [ Not that he wants to pry into potentially horrible things if there was anything wonderfully horrible to find down there, but... The more they know what they're getting themselves into, the better. ]

[Um....]
It's easier to move down there since you don't have to worry about storms 'n stuff as much. Stuff is a lot farther apart though, I think.
[Thankfully or not, Frisk doesn't have too much to say about terrible dangers or anything, as they didn't run into anything. Anomalies or otherwise.]
There's a big hospital in the middle and a pharmacy place in-between it and the house to the surface. They're both good places to stay the night. And on one of the sides of the hospital there's a lot of houses like up here. That's where I woke up.

He hums at the same at the information the kid on the other end lays out... perhaps a slight bit relieved to hear nothing of the monsters. They've been lucky so far at least. That's good... Though how long that luck lasts... well... He shakes his head. ]
Hm... Bunch of houses, huh. That's... weird. But I guess not much weirder than an underground... [ He trails off. Yeah, on second thought, let's not go there. He clears his throat. ]

What's weird about stuff underground?
[Admittedly they might've thought the same thing before falling, but now... they've seen whole cities 'n things.

He shakes his head slowly. ] You don't seem all that surprised.

Back home, my family was all trapped underground for a long time, so they had all sorts of stuff there. They had a city with a castle, and a town, and the Core, and ruins and forests and snail farms and puzzles and things.
[Their voice gets warmer as they talk about things concerning their family, as it usually does.]

Zack shakes his head although they won't be able to see him do so. ]
You know, for saying you were trapped, you sound almost like you enjoyed it. [ It's a very... very soft prod. And perhaps a sad one. No matter how much being stuck in Norfinbury was the worst, the people he's met... well... ]

[This is where things get a bit more complicated.]
I wasn't really trapped there with them. Not for most of it.
A long time ago, humans trapped monsters under Mt. Ebott because they were scared of them. And there were stories that travelers who go there will disappear. But really, I think they just fell into the Underground like I did.
[There's a little bit of editing to their story, but it's probably not too easy to see. They hope.]
