[network] @ADMIN; Obituary [Day 068]
We mourn the loss of those who have died in the time between the last announcement and this one:
Hiro Hamada
Clementine
Hiro Hamada
Clementine

text; @hotstud_xxx
screw you
[Pithy and, he feels, quite on point for many things related to the ADMIN at the moment.]

[ Jim's remembering losing Cloud, and the awful feeling of never knowing for sure what actually happened to him. Knowing what happened to Hiro doesn't really make it better, but at least he's not torturing himself with what-ifs. ]
He died taking on a monster. Got in the way and saved someone's life.

good to know he died like an idiot when he's in a group with goddamn soldiers
i didn't think the kid was that much of a self-sacrificing moron
maybe this will teach him a valuable lesson if he comes back

do the math
he's more valuable than anyone he was trying to save unless it was you
in which case
he's still a self-sacrificing moron and should have figured out something else
no subject
but yeah, in the two seconds he had to react I guess the "mechanical aficionado" should've come up with a plan to what - beat the monster? Haul a 200 pound guy out of there?
What would you have done?
no subject
and as we've now established it wasn't you unless you're way chunkier than i'm picturing
i wouldn't have done a thing except shout out a warning
dying tragically makes for great television
not so much real life

Maybe it was better than watching someone else die here after his brother and Cloud. Or maybe he was just brave and thought he'd come back.
no subject
he wouldn't be dead right now because he decided to play hero
and sacrificing yourself like that isn't brave
he didn't want to be sad again?
he did it because he was selfish
he did it because couldn't think of anything better?
he's an idiot, like i said
no subject
doesn't matter what he is - stupid, selfish, brave
he's still dead. just thought knowing why was better than not. sorry for bothering.

go cry at the soldier boys if you're looking for commiseration

How could you even say those things about someone who was supposed to be your friend?
[And a kid who just died, on top of it. SUPER COOL, HOUSE.]
no subject
i'm just teaching him how to do it better
anyway, this was an a and b conversation so c your way out, mama bear
i don't have friends
and he's the one who responded
so take a hike and let the cub learn

no subject
but selfish?
this should be good
go ahead and explain to the class how you got there

This is a legitimately confusing response for Tifa. She thinks the answer is so obvious that she can't even fathom how this is a question.]
Trying to convince people who are grieving to agree with you about the way Hiro died isn't right. How isn't that selfish? You aren't helping anyone.
no subject
i'm telling him how things are
he wants to think his little buddy was a hero
good for him
but he wasn't and him trying to convince me otherwise in some ridiculous bid to hold an idiot kid who couldn't think fast enough up on a pedestal is really annoying
he said his goal was to make things better
he failed

and you must've missed the memo
i'm not "nice"
you can go cry at the soldier boys, too
maybe one of them has a crush on you
i'm sure they'll try to make you feel all better
no subject
[Because seriously, she's never had an issue the other times they've talked. Maybe she's just been lucky.]
no subject
this makes me feel a lot better
[Is it sarcasm? The world may never know.]
