I ran into a monster with tentacles. It was pretty weird, man.
Heard about a rat one. If you scroll back through the network you might catch some information about them.

Alphonse in that drawing is about seven feet tall.
So it's a really, really big rat from that drawing.
I'm from a world with monsters. I can deal with those no problem.
Here, they aren't like those ones. They are trying to eat everyone stuck here.

I guess rat poison won't work on them, then.

I could try bleach and ammonia.

There are better uses for bleach. Ammonia, though, could be useful for taking care of the monsters.

My friend, Kain, likes using it to purify the water here.
Most houses should have water in them. Cold water, but it's drinkable.
I heard lighting them on fire doesn't work either. It just makes them terrifying to look at.
