We need to know what houses you were in when you were possessed.

[You're even getting full sentences and proper grammar, Snowhell. As easy as it had been to dick around and stir drama in Haurchefant's message, House does want to get something done here. And these are concrete objectives he can focus on to acquire additional information on what the hell the people running this place were doing. Or someone might have stolen House's tablet. That's probably a good guess, too. Clayton's the only one who's actually seen him switch to proper typing when he's being serious.]

@haurchefant also noted humming one building that should be investigated. Search for a basement, trap door, or something below the floor.

Update 1: Sparrow Langley's home is the northwestern most building by the ice wall.
Update 2: Shelley Derricks' home is close to the school from the east side and covered in wallpaper.
Update 3: Andromeda's home is a bit less than a mile off of the south wall and northwest of that gas station in the south. The bedroom is space-themed.

[map.png is attached. It is a combined version of all of the overlaid maps House could find along with Tim's tunnels map. It's all drawn in a neat hand with Building 121 noted as 'humming.' All previously-mapped buildings are represented by simple boxes on a relative scale and numbered in rows, horizontally. A further map attachment has basic descriptions of the buildings (where they've been provided) associated with the numbers.]

Northwest most building, by the wall. It was Sparrow's home I think. She acted like it was, and I believe that's where the sparrow body was found.

I'm on the other side of town, but we're headed toward the school.

@fastoon found the dead bird. [ link.html ]

Like I told him, she mentioned her parents saying it wasn't "exactly like a real sparrow". It seems like if it had MN poisoning it would still be a real sparrow.

I don't guess a sparrow autopsy would mean much to a human doctor.
spoileralert: (maybe this is important)

[personal profile] spoileralert 2015-12-02 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
He was probably busy with other things.

[ ... ]

You didn't give the kid the cat's liver, did you?
spoileralert: surprised, neutral (* oh hey it's catwoman)

[ She's relieved to find she believes him. ]

I can think of a few psychopaths who'd consider it.
spoileralert: unsure, smug (* literally)

[personal profile] spoileralert 2015-12-02 07:06 pm (UTC)(link)
And here I thought you liked your bad boy image.
spoileralert: (smug grin)

[personal profile] spoileralert 2015-12-02 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Aww, he's acting like a normal human being. How sweet and reassuring. ]

It takes a special kind of weirdo to dig up a dead cat for science.
spoileralert: unsure, smile (* get a grip mom)

[personal profile] spoileralert 2015-12-02 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Annoyed by an *ass there, fixed it for you. ]

I assume the rich kid had medical training too? Or he would have just hired someone else to do it for him.
spoileralert: laugh, smile, happy (* i totes saw boob)

[personal profile] spoileralert 2015-12-02 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I assumed that too.

Would this be the house next to the store? I found a birdcage, but nothing else that seemed significant.
bookofnope: (Default)

[personal profile] bookofnope 2015-12-02 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
The house was entirely standard. It's been searched before, eighteen days ago, by Alphone's group. I did note that the birdcage was clean, no signs of food or droppings, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

[personal profile] bookofnope 2015-12-02 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I can't say I'm pleased with how little regard you seem to have for my abilities as an observer. But since you insist. The house is one story, a kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and bedroom. There was one of the usual Alphone Elric and friends carving - mentioning Stephanie, Edward, and someone inexplicably named Greed, if I recall correctly. Nothing else was cleared or packed up, but the cage door was open. I spent the night there with no experiences unusual or otherwise.

Please do share what startling insights you have on this information.

I've been there before, although I didn't do any digging or poke around too much where it's been dug. We're both headed there today.

I'm afraid I didn't, sorry, I had other goals at the time. Those kind of details, you'd have to talk to Tim. Or wait until Beckett's had a chance to look at them, which would probably be more useful to you anyway. He's an archaeologist, apparently.

[personal profile] bookofnope 2015-12-03 11:10 am (UTC)(link)
That might have been my motivation, yes.

As Steve mentioned, he and I are heading there today along with Rydia. Two other people mentioned an interest - Zell and a new arrival called @dissect (I honestly can't comment on people's choices of names in this town). A larger scale excavation might yield valuable information, if we can work around the little issue of violent aversion symptoms.

I see. And not a terribly creative namer either. I suppose we'd better keep him busy, then.

I was thinking of trying to transport a body to the hospital, or to one of the other revival sites. Something interesting might happen. I don't imagine you'd want to help?
bookofnope: (the skeptic)

[personal profile] bookofnope 2015-12-10 02:56 pm (UTC)(link)
What is it that humans say - those who don't work, don't eat? Well, those who don't help haul a corpse across town to the hospital, don't get to autopsy it if I decide it's too much of a bother and leave it in the funeral home instead.

Point taken. Don't you have any companions you could press into service? Haurchefant alone could carry three. Tell him it's for the greater good.

Let us know when you are anywhere in the neighbourhood, then. We'll make sure to save you some nice corpses.

the house i was in was really close to the school from the east side
the walls are covered in wallpaper and there are lots of faded square markings where it looked like there used to be pictures
they were probably of shelleys family i dunno
maybe there were some of protests too since she talked about those

the only other thing i can think if that was kinda weird was that the bathroom upstairs had little claws for feet!
other than that it was pretty normal, kinda big
three bedrooms, the one downstairs was big and had a really big bed too.
averytinyparticle: (shakes head)

no
i was pretty freaked out after i was myself again so i left right away

Fascinating. Last time I gave you information about something, you chose to make it about my personal life.

[England knows it's important to gather information about the possessions, but he's not going to make it easy on House.]
keepscalm: (042❦thus I will excuse thee)

[personal profile] keepscalm 2015-12-03 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I was giving you information about nations, which is hardly a particularly unique or sensitive subject matter to me. You know very well where you made it personal.

Typically, when you intend to cooperate with people, you try to avoid pissing them off, since that makes it much more difficult to work together.

[...SIGH.

There's some delay before the next message.]

If you've ever been by that house with the space-themed bedroom, that's where it happened to me. It's a bit less than a mile off of the south wall and northwest of that petrol station in the south.

As with Sparrow, Andromeda claimed that it was her house.
