[network, audio, open] @CaptSteveRogers; PSA; Day 55, early afternoon
[The sounds of somewhat heavy breathing and tromping through the snow.]
This is Captain Rogers. Full disclosure; I have turned on my beacon. I recognize that it is now somewhat hazardous to be near me, so... take that under advisement. I promise not to be insulted if you'd rather steer clear. To that end, I'll try to report my movements fairly regularly. Currently, I've just left the school cafeteria and am headed towards the houses due south of the school.
That is all for now.

I haven't made any enemies here, I don't think, and hopefully won't in future, so why shouldn't I make myself easy to find?

...Be careful, though. They will choose to follow you when they appear, unless there's someone else with theirs on. I...I don't know how they behave when there's more than one beacon to follow.

...Well, I suppose I'll probably find out. I'm meeting up with Beckett and Rydia, and I know Rydia has her beacon on, too.

[But now he feels obligated to dispense dealing-with-anomalies advice.] I don't know if you've heard this yet, but they can be led away from a door easily enough; they're very single-minded once they have someone to chase. Clayton and I once avoided one by leading it in a circle around the building we were trying to take shelter in.

Right. Well. ...Good to know, I suppose.
