Hey, Trinity! Wibblelips! Look what I found. It flies, it screams, it's alive. It also happens to be the reason I'm stuck in a shed for the night. Now, I got a screwdriver.

[The screwdriver is held up into view in a pink-gloved hand.]

And I got a hammer.

[The screwdriver is set down and the hammer is picked up to show.]

It's a hammer of justice. It's a hammer of warning. And it's going to be the hammer I take to that freaking thing unless you tell me how to get it to stop screaming in my face. Hiro, you needed some robot parts, right? Might be able to get you some.

They are? Um, I mean - well, it's always good to know these things to avoid making any awkward faux-pas or anything. Don't you think?

[ A slightly guilty, self-conscious pause. ]

Plus, um, it's kind of interesting. I had no idea that romance could be this complex.

It's a lot of trouble for one person to go to... I'm sorry if I offended you with my laughter, it's...unusual to see.

Have you never known of anyone who seemed to attract admirers wherever they go? It isn't so dissimilar from what you've drawn here.

Oh, no, I wasn't offended at all! It's hard to be offended by laughter when it isn't malicious, don't you think?

[ Plus she knows she's kind of a weirdo, but pointing that out seems like something of a buzzkill. ]

And, um, I suppose I know of people like that? Just. Not exactly in a romantic context. I've only ever seen people get idolised for their wealth, status, or ability to gun down waves of bandits and survive.

That's similar, except it's some part of their personality, or more likely a pretty face. The only part of that chart that is in any way truly complex is the bit on the left.
