[ It's late morning when Zack makes his presence known. The exhaustion that steals away his usual humor's more than evident. But there's something of an urgent authority in his tried timbre, too.

Looks like some of those things are getting restless. Ran into a big one yesterday. In broad daylight. I didn't look long before I turned tail, so don't count too much on the mugshot. But one piece of advice? You see something charging at you with feet that big? You run. That thing was fast on snow. Too fast. [ There's a brief pause and he might be glancing Jim's way... ] ...I also wouldn't suggest trying to torch anything in the future without good reason. Just trust me on this one.

[ He draws out a long sigh and it might seem like he's about to wrap things up. He's certainly taking his sweet time to say anything more... But then... if not tiredly: ]

Otherwise, me and the guys I've been traveling with have been looking into the wall around town. We haven't found anything noteworthy, but I can't help but feel like we might miss something vital if we don't.

Still... [ And this is where he's gonna take a moment to rub uncomfortably at his growing stubble. Really, he should shave again, but. He's got more important matters to concern himself with. Like maybe uneasily... ] ...It's a lot of ground to cover. Ground that would be easier to cover with more people. So, if anyone's willing to take some of the load, you know how to reach me. [ It might be a lot to ask after basically informing everyone that there are now Sasquatches roaming about, but... if it gives them any leads... ]

Had the same thing happen to me not too long ago.

I wandered into a building and I was charged at by some kind of monster.

Didn't look anything like that, but I guess that means there's probably just a lot of 'em wandering around, waiting for one of us to stumble into it. I wonder where the hell they all came from?
