[log] cause i feel like i'm wide awake [closed]
Characters: Camille O'Connell and Klaus Mikaelson
Location The Chapel (96) to start
Date: Day 35 Morning
Summary: Cami's back from a death she never realized was coming
Warnings: PG-13 for talk of death?
It is not for the first time that Cami awakens with a start in the cold, sitting upright and desperately sucking in breath. Nor are these her first moments of confusion, of trying to piece together memories in a desperate attempt to understand just what has happened. The last thing she remembers is laying by Klaus’ side, letting her eyes close as she gave in to sleep. But one look around reveals the hybrid-turned-human to be nowhere in sight. Worse, this room isn’t at all familiar, even if Cami doesn’t need long at all to discern its purpose.
The chill on her skin is nothing compared to the way her chest tightens as she realizes that she’s in a morgue.
“Klaus.” The questions of why she is in this place, how she got there can wait. Cami scrambles through her things (which thankfully have largely remained with her) to find the tablet that would allow her to contact him. She rapidly presses her fingers against the screen, hoping that he isn’t in the midst of travelling or worse gone entirely, where she wouldn’t be able to reach him at all.
“Come on Klaus, pick up. Please.”
