I was outside. The damned thing came out of nowhere. I guess it's possible I was drugged and don't remember it. Caveman logic would be that it killed me by touching me. Sci-fi sensationalist logic would be that I'm a clone or a robot programmed with my memories up to that moment and laid out in the morgue as though I had died. It probably says something about what this place does to you that I find all of these theories equally believable.
