It was because of all of your actions. Once I saw the "seance", I realized I could utilize that if another attempt was made.

There was never any way you would succeed, but there was no way you would all believe that until you did all you could.

The administrator accidentally created those anomalies. It was that which gave me the idea.

So we die, our anomalies survive. What happens next? They get to play in the snow until the administrator finally reaches retirement?

I succeed in keeping the town alive where the administrator fails and she cedes power to me.

Okay, that is a horrible way of going on about it but at least Flynn can understand that. Trying to stop their anomalies, even just planning it, regaining some semblance of agency, has made him feel so good over the past couple of days that this makes sense to him, desperate as it may seem.]

... What will you do once you have accomplished that?

Keep the town survivable for the anomalies for as long as possible. It's not much, but it would be mine.
