[log] The Great Anomaly Round-up [closed]
Characters: OTA (regular characters plus anomalies)
Location: Power Plant
Date: Day 440
Summary: Here! In brief: It's time to capture some anomalies in the Norfinbury power plant!
Warnings: Please add to subject lines.
[The Norfinbury power plant is a large building that is one of the few with reliable electricity. Going inside reveals a warm, metallic interior. Immediately upon entering is a small reception area--there's a door labeled EMPLOYEES ONLY, but you can also go into a door to the right for a small museum-like area intended for young children that explains the basics of thermal energy. Visit the gift shop and get a fun t-shirt!
Entering the employees only area, it gets warmer, though it's far from unpleasant.
Here is where it will happen. There are multiple offices before the hallway opens up into a large, open area with countless shining machines and a sealed off central area. The air in the central area is hotter than the rest of the facility, almost uncomfortable. There's a door requiring a key card to enter the central area, and the door displays a warning: INTENSE HEAT. DO NOT ENTER WITHOUT PROTECTION.
A keycard left by those who have come before sits atop one of the shining machines, ready to be taken and used.
This is the place where the anomalies will be trapped. Where the groups converging on the power plant will attempt to trap the anomalies. Messages have been put up around town, trying to draw them here. It's now or never.
Perhaps you're an anomaly that's already here. Perhaps you're one of those seeking to capture them. Perhaps you're one of the late and unexpected arrivals. In any case, enjoy the free-for-all. There's technically a plan, but mice and men might have something about things that go awry here.]

[There's a...what only can be described as an amused pause from the mostly invisible spot that he existed in.]
I froze your copy, by the way.
no subject
It's just a copy, okay, but it's his copy and that still makes it kind of personal. Especially when Mycroft is taking that smug tone. And he's convinced that the choice of going after him was quite a deliberate one.]
Oh yeah? I stabbed yours.
[His pause, in return, is pure pettiness.]
With your umbrella.
no subject
There's an irritated pause and a blast of frigid air that brings a new layer of ice to the ground below him.]
Was that at all necessary?
[He misses his umbrella.]
no subject
[He's not AS mad at John and Sherlock just because he likes them better but that whole thing was rather annoying. After all he was just minding his own business. Showing them his plants.]
I'm pretty sure mine didn't.
no subject
...Sherlock was involved.
The ice underneath him suddenly has spikes in it.]
Yours died pathetically.
Did you kill my brother's copy?
no subject
[Some of his vines twitch aggressively and a couple of roses bloom on the edges - though it's mostly thorns.]
I did. Wasn't planning on it but it helped me out in the end.
no subject
[He thought he'd be good at running away, at least, but if Sherlock was involved he could see why he would have stayed.]
I wish you hadn't done that.
[Those are really a lot of spikes. The flurry gets worse, and for a moment it looks like there's almost someone there.]
no subject
So I really don't care.
no subject
[Let's just turn this around. And yes. He most definitely did.]
Besides, I'm simply going to go after him again.
[Which he was going to do anyway, even before he found out you killed his brother's copy.]
