[ IT MAY NOT HAVE A BANDAGE BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT'S NOT HURTY. He still grits his teeth and accepts it like a fuckin MAN. Like, Xanxus would friendly-punch him in the mouth, this is absolutely gentle and pain-free in comparison. ]

Uh-huh. Turns out they also share memories? So me and Angel, we have a thing, kind of, and then her anomaly shows up and demands hugs and a private trip, y'know, just the two of us. I mean it's probably better than her [ please note how the anomaly actually gets a pronoun here, how respectful ] straight up killing everyone in the house, but.

[ he makes a gesture that suggests he's not actually so sure it's better. ]

When I started passing out from bloodloss I managed to convince her that her presence was hurting me, so she kinda just let me leave after that. Yeah, I know, not much of a story.

[ he almost sounds a bit disappointed. ]

I did try to decapitate her with a cleaver. Didn't work.

Bet it looked pretty cool though, with the cleaver. [Gotta cheer him up somehow.] So your girlfriendnomaly is still out there, huh? I guess you're with Watson on stoppin' all these monster versions of us, then? [Maybe the Doc does have a point...]

Nuh-uh. But I think I'm gonna go lookin', especially if folks are tryin' to lock up these doppelgangers. If she exists, I wanna be the one who decides if another me is dangerous.

Hey, good call. [ He seems to really think so. Why would anyone else get to decide what to do with them? ] What if she's one of those -- that's basically you? Just, y'know, not as good looking.

[ And that alone isn't enough reason to lock someone up. Unfortunately. ]

Then we're a duo, so far as I'm concerned. And no one's gonna break up the act by lockin' up the less attractive Quinn. I'll make sure of it.

Just don't go right for hugging her right as you meet. They're all dangerous, though some of 'em by accident.

[ He vaguely motions at his bandages. He's not angry at Angelnomaly -- hell, she's done a good job of not really harming him for days - but it's a fact. ]

[She pauses for a moment, suddenly remembering something.] Y'know, it wouldn't even be the first time I met a doomed, imperfect copy of myself... [There was that time when Bizarro tried to make a Bizarro!Harley to be his bride. Boy, what a mess that turned out to be.] I hope whatever Miller does next will at least be unique.

[ Normally Squalo wouldn't care all that much, but entertainment's scarce nowadays. He perks up and raises an eyebrow at her. ]

Oh, before. Back when I was layin' low in Metropolis. You ever heard'a Bizarro Superman?

I don't think I've heard of most things from your world.

[ Superman just might exist as a franchise in his, though. We just don't know. ]

Ok, so there's this superhero shmuck where I come from named Superman. Real original name, right? Well, anyhoo, somebody tried to clone him once-- big mistake. All the superpowers, none of the brains, kinda chalky lookin', cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, talks and does everything backwards. Actually, kind of an improvement now that I think of it.

Of course, this Bizarro Superman falls in love with yours truly. Not bein' the kind to accept... or understand... rejection, Biz tries to make his own imperfect Harley Quinn clone to take as a bride.

Well, after a useful round of kidnappin', Bizarro Harley comes out of the clonin' whatsit perfectly flawed and an absolute buzzkill. Things don't go so smoothly between her and Biz but before he even can run for the hills, Bizarro Harley literally explodes on account of clonin' weirdoes is still an imperfect science.

Hopefully Miller's clone is less annoyin'... and less explodey.
