[He's almost completely re-formed by now, and though he's not in danger of falling apart again yet, having Royce draped over him quells the fire a little bit. The light is less blinding, and more soothing; less overwhelming, and more controlled.]

[ Royce breathes out slow, slowly wrapping his way around Alfie's arm and holding on. He hurts, but - he's not alone. That's the worst part about this. Being alone. He murmurs, distant, nonsense, just so Alfie knows he's here and present. ]

[And Alfie will continue walking just like that, with Royce wound around him like a blanket. Holding on.]
