[Enoch! His presence is soothing, somehow, knowing they shared similar sentiments; they needed to help as many people as they could in spite of how they looked. Yet he was right - charging in might give them the wrong idea. Lacking a mouth and a tongue, Roland struggles to speak with the crackling sound he has left, but, determined to act, he forces the words out nonetheless:]

[You may be right. He means to pause and compose himself thoughtfully, but his roasted, zombified limbs are no longer built for such fine movements.]

[Perhaps we should send someone ahead. Someone still recognizable. Or even just someone who can speak.

He looks at Enoch, though the intent in his expression may be hard to read, given he no longer has an actual face.]

[It's lucky that when Enoch shudders at the sight of what's left of his face, it's lost in the ripples that naturally occur in his movement. For that, his lack of any human structure is a form of protection. Poor Roland. Why were some people like himself, Angel, and Flynn, given forms they could at least use while others got, well, this?]

I was thinking that, Eve always replaces lost tablets, and here we are in Norfinbury proper again, without any. We might find some if we look!

[Roland might have felt insulted had he been able to sense Enoch's disgust, but as it is, the only thing he can feel towards his partner in crime is pride.]

[I hadn't considered that. Where does she usually leave them? He'd never lost his tablet, but a seasoned Norfinbury veteran surely had a better idea than he did.]

In buildings, usually ones nearby. House thinks we might be considered anomalies, so perhaps it will take some time before she realizes we're better put together than that?

[He's hoping, at least. He doesn't want to spring the surprise of any of them unannounced, even if his vision of their fear is by nature inaccurate, less than it would actually be.]
