[That someone is an anomaly whose original form has been completely lost, a white puddle of ooze trailing in House's wake, collecting his blood crystals. A pair of large hands form out of it when he slows, offering the collected blood, now re-liquefied, as if it can somehow help. Let him help. Let him be useful.]

It feels like a day or two, but...I don't know. [The voice identifies him as Enoch, though very out of breath, panting with...exertion? Possibly. Hard to say. His entire means of locomotion has changed after all.] We have those memories that don't match, too. Do you need to replace this?

You wanna try to put that back inside me?

[His tone says that Enoch is being a moron. What else is new, though?]

We need to get back to where we were. Your guys are in the Bunker, right? Any chance you got a tablet? No idea how we're getting in apart from knocking, otherwise.

[The hands sag a bit, as if attached to deflated shoulders, and shuffle back inside him with the blood. For a moment he considers saving it for Beckett, but the idea occurs to him that he shouldn't offer House's blood without his permission, and instead he shifts it behind them and deposits it on the floor in a puddle.

For a moment that leaves him pausing, only his gasping breath, the surreal nature of his own thoughts and movement and actions hits him, and he even stops moving. Thankfully, House is slow, so the pause would be much shorter, relatively, than it would be if he were moving at normal speeds. The terror can't last, with things to distract him. He is no longer disposed to seeing it for everything it is.]

I don't know. We all left momentarily for some reason or another. Though I'm sure all of us would have returned to the bunker eventually.

Rhys was the only one who didn't do the seance, right? And Hoodie?

[Is Brian part of Enoch's little group? It seems like he hangs out with Beckett, anyway.]

Knowing Brian, he's likely in the bunker now. He's far less prone to needing a change of scenery than any of us.

[So that's one person. But the person hardest to talk to, even as a normal person, let alone...this.]

We need to see if we can find tablets. We can warn them. You know how they would react to seeing anomalies...

[Fair enough. House isn't sure Brian can even really comprehend why a moldy, dark bunker would be bad for him for an extended period of time.]

Some people have been anomalies before, at least. Shouldn't be that hard to get over the hurdle.

[House lapses into silence for a moment before he says:]

On the bright side, I'm not actually cold anymore.

I can't imagine you would feel it! I think your new form might have other advantages, as well.

[He shuffles along in silence for a second, himself. This is weirdly...not bad?]

...Do you think Miller meant to take away our control of ourselves, but failed?

Maybe? I mean, if we're the copies, he clearly wanted us for something. Maybe he thinks having anomalies with brains'll change something. Don't think it was getting to the center sooner. I dunno about you, but I'm pretty chill here already. And it's not like we're gonna find anything good there.

Right...if we're the copies there isn't any reason for us to go. And if we're not, the copies are the ones now less suited to this place.

[There's the unchanging bit, but...maybe they'll see how that pans out.]

As long as we can get to 'em, it'll probably be fine. I just wanna know if we can get anywhere we couldn't before. I wanna go exploring for real now. I've been around this town a year and still haven't visited all the buildings.

Focus on the mystery now that you don't need to focus on not freezing to death? That sounds like a good idea. I might assist you once I'm done telling my loved ones what has happened to us.

[He's good for getting into tight spaces. Though...why does that sound less exciting than he thought it would? What happened to his curiosity? It's like it's only half-there. Weird.]
